A new red-band trailer has been released for
Dredd, which packs a very distinctive style. The clip shows Dredd painting the walls of an apartment with the blood of gun-toting drug addicts. Everything is shown as part of a drug-addled haze thanks to the effects of the SLO-MO drug, so that you can see every bullet impact, spray of blood and explosive effect. That eliminates the fear that it’s going to be toned down at all anyways.

Pete Travis, who was previously responsible for the likes of Vantage Point and Endgame, is directing the project. Dredd will be released in Europe on September 7th with a release in North America scheduled for September 21st.
