Harrison Ford has claimed that he'd be more than happy to explore the possibility of another Blade Runner movie with original director Ridley Scott during an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit this weekend.
On top of questions about some of his other iconic roles, including Indiana Jones and Star Wars (he finally addressed the question of who shot first, and in typical Han Solo style, he simply doesn't care), the actor lifted the lid on his time shooting for Blade Runner, which he claimed was among the hardest roles he's ever had thanks to adverse weather conditions and constant night shoots.
On the topic of a sequel, Ford said:
I’m quite curious and excited about seeing a new script for Blade Runner. If in fact the opportunity would exist to do another, if it’s a good script I would be very anxious to work with Ridley Scott again. He’s a very talented and passionate filmmaker.I think it would be very interesting to revisit the character.
With Ridley Scott already on record as saying that a sequel will most likely happen at some stage, someone really needs to get the pair together and make sure this happens ASAP.
