The illusive Horns trailer is finally online and fit for general consumption. Written by Stephen King’s offspring, Joe Hill, Horns chronicles the exploits of Ig Perrish, who awakens hungover to the sight of his girlfriend’s corpse. Incidentally, he also grows Horns which make people give into their darkest desires. So there’s plenty of wiggle room for mischief. And who better to cast in the role than Harry Potter himself?
Reportedly, Daniel Radcliffe is a decent actor, on stage. But with well-liked source material and a neutral if effective yank accent to get to grips with, Horns offers the chance to showcase his ability to the world. (Yes he had 8 high profile chances to do this previously, but it’s difficult for a boy of 12 and up to outshine THAT many special effects and a cast of Britain’s best and brightest.)
Horns slithers its way into cinemas on October 31st 2014.
