Daniel Craig will make a small cameo in the upcoming release of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. In fact, it’s such a small cameo that we may never see his face. But we may have an idea of who he is, thanks to Simon Pegg.
Speaking at the premiere of Man Up in London, Pegg revealed the role that Craig took on. He said, “I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper.'' Of course, he quickly realised his mistake and added, “I shouldn't have said that.”
Pegg has been long-rumoured to appear in the upcoming film. But his identity, for the moment, is a secret. Perhaps he is trying to misdirect people, but it seems likely that Craig will fill the boots of a Stormtrooper.
An inside source has said, “Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him.'' Perhaps he'll be the best dressed Stormtrooper...or the one that can actually hit a target!
Craig recently returned to the business of filming Bond after he underwent surgery on his knee. The actor injured himself while shooting scenes for the film in the Alps.
