Here's Tom Hiddleston as Loki on the Thor set

There's a new Thor movie in the works called Thor Ragnarok and it's sounding like the best in that sub series yet, which honestly wouldn't be too hard.

The main pitch is that it will be a buddy road movie type thing with Thor and Hulk, which already sounds amazing, and it's being directed by Kiki fella Taika Waititi who helmed What We Do in the Shadows, so you know it's probably going to be hilarious.

In more good news, Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki after being away from our screens for a long three years. In that time, Marvel hasn't managed to conjure up a single decent villain so we can't wait to see him again.

As evidence, witness a snap of him in costume as Loki.

He's back!

Great stuff, even if it reveals absolutely nothing about what the character will be up to. We do have some clues from the end of the fairly dull Thor The Dark World as the trickster was hiding out in a body which looked like Anthony Hopkins' Odin, that should lead to some interesting consequences for Thor and the rest.

Idris Elba is also back for the film, apparently in a more meaty role, and newcomers include Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Creed's Tessa Thompson- who might just be romancing Thor. As you might have guessed, this means that Natalie Portman is entirely out of the picture, we're wondering if that will even be addressed.

This is sounding seriously good, and we'll get to see the film in full in November 2017.
