I've said it before and I'll probably say it again - that 2007 Hitman movie with Timothy Olyphantwas actually pretty good fun.
Big Tim may have looked incredibly bored but the action was fun, the violence was present and it was all put together with a surprising amount of sheen for a video game adaptation. Also, Olga Kurylenkowas in it, which is never a bad thing.
Later Olyphant admitted that he only made the movie to pay for his new house (have to love the honesty) so he was never likely to return for a sequel, and after 8 years few probably expected it to happen. But the fully rebooted Hitman: Agent 47 is totally a real thing and there's a trailer on the way. First though, here's promo which has the term 'viral' in the title. Which always comes off as a bit desperate but its good fodder if Vine folks generally annoy you.
Agent 47 was originally set to be played by Paul Walker (Sob!) with the film suffering another setback after his loss. Now Homeland's Rupert Friend will be bald and dangerous and star alongside Zachary Quinto and Hannah Ware in a film directed by first-timerAleksander Bach.
Hitman: Agent 47 is in cinemas in August 2015.
