The time has come folks, Deadpool is almost with us! That's right, the merc with the mouth is coming to cinemas from the 10th of February with Ryan Reynolds bringing back the character with an R-rating and lots of the violence, bad language and other stuff that we like to see on the big screen. Also in cinemas are some period zombies, chipmunks, survival stories and true tales.
Ryan Reynolds gets to play the character of Deadpool again in an R-rated, fourth wall breaking, over the top comic book adaptation. The trailers have been hugely entertaining, the star is on top form and we can't wait to see it. Also starring TJ Miller, Morena Baccarin and lots of cursing.
Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip
The little guys are back, and this time they're hitting the road. The third Alvin and the Chipmunks movie sees the trio heading across country to Miami to help their owner Dave, and it seems like they get into a lot of trouble along the way. That's a great title by the way.
A Bigger Splash
Tilda Swinton plays a famous rock star (which we can believe) who is trying to get away from it all on a secluded and gorgeous Italian island. Then an old friend comes visiting, and things get tangled and torrid. Also starring Ralph Fiennes and Dakota Johnson.
Will Smith stars in this film based on a true story about a forensic pathologist who found evidence of extensive brain damage in a number of American Football players over a number of years. His findings were challenged by the NFL as his very life was put in danger. With Alec Baldwin, Albert Brooks and Eddie Marsan.
Shot in Northern Ireland, this is a tale of a world that has fallen, a dystopia where only the strong survive. One man has been doing fine on his own when that peace is shattered by the arrival of two women with a secret past. This low budget film has been getting strong early reviews.
