Transformers start set to play love interest of Queen Elizabeth.

Irish actor Jack Reynor has been chosen to star in a new World War II film in which he will play the love interest of Queen Elizabeth. The reimagining of VE Day in 1945 will also start Ruper Everett and Emily Watson.

Reynor (23) quickly made it to the big time after his award-winning performance in the Irish production of 'What Richard Did.' This then landed him the role in Michael Bay's Hollywood blockbuster, 'Transformers.'

The Irish actor's latest film, 'Girls Night Out,' tells the story of Princesses Elizabeth and Maragert being allowed out of Buckingham Palace for one night only to celebrate the end of World War II and the romance and danger they encounter upon the way.

Reynor, who recently became engaged to model Madeline Mulqueen, is expected to join Everett and Watson on set in the UK next month.
