Irishman Jack Reynor joins Kathryn Bigelow's Detroit Riots

Irish actor Jack Reynor has joined the cast of Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming film about the 1967 Detroit Riots.

Will Poulter, Ben O’Toole, and Reynor are the latest additions to the cast. This already includes John Boyega who is keeping busy after his breakthrough in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Their respective roles and character descriptions are being kept under wraps at the moment. This movie is being pegged as an ensemble piece, but Poulter, O'Toole, and Reynor are expected to get the most screen time.

Producers are targeting a 2017 release to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the riots, though no studio is attached to the as-yet-unnamed film at this point in time.
