Jack Reynor is having a busy time of it, recently popping into Dublin for the Irish premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction and sitting down for a chat with us. Now, he'soff to Galway before heading out for more TF press.
At Galway, Reynor will attend the world premiere of his new movie Glassland. It'sthe second film from a young Irish director called Gerard Barret who has to be the most enthusiastic filmmakerwe've ever met. When we interviewed him for his first film Pilgrim Hill, he had this to say about his next feature:
"It'scalled Glassland and it is about a young guy in Dublin who drives a taxi and he's just trying to hold his family together in a crisis. It'sa small urban drama and we'reshooting this year . And we've got two fabulous international actors on board for that, so that'll be fantastic. I can'tsay who they are!"
We now know that he was talking about Toni Collette and Will Poulter who star alongside Reynor. Collette plays his mother who the young man must save from the terrors of addiction.
Glassland will premiere on Friday the 11th of July at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway at 8pm. Reynor will be there, alongside co-star Will Poulter and you can expect writer/director Barrett to make an appearance as well.
