JDIFF 2015 Early Announcement - Discounted Season Passes Available Now

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival is back for 2015. Established in 2003, the yearly festival has showcased almost 1,500 films from more than 50 countries around the world. For 2015, it takes up a new postilion from the 19th to the 29thof March and a few of the many events have already been teased.

In 2015, the festival will welcome the new movie by acclaimed actor Alan Rickman, A Little Chaos. It's a period drama starring Kate Winsletas a landscape gardener who begins work on the grand gardens at Versailles, during the reign of King Louis XIV. Rickman plays the King, and also directs the film, which will have its Irish premiere at JDIFF.

Another film getting its Irish premiere will be Mark McGuckiian's The Price of Desire. It's a story about the life of Eileen Gray, an Irish designer andarchitect who's influence on 20th Century styles was all but erased from history. It stars Orla Brady and Alanis Morissette.

And the first guest has also been announced, Sir David Hare. The feted playwright has also worked extensively in TV and Film, including the scripts for The Hours and The Reader. To date, he's received two Oscar nominations and three Golden Globe nods and he'll be talking about his work in person in March.

You can expect plenty more reveals in the coming months, with more than 100 films set to be shown at locations around Dublin (including Dundrum) over 10 days in March. And right now, you can get access to this world of entertainment for a special low price. Until the 5th of January 2015, you can get a Season Ticket for the early bird price of €200 (normally €245) - that's a massive saving and the perfect Christmas gift for the film lover.

You can also get special JDIFF merchandise for the first time on the site, including iPad pouches, wallets and a special presentation box to make your season ticket look extra special. Check out the gifts here and head to jdiff.com for info on season passes, gift vouchers and plenty more.

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival runs from the 19thto the 29th of March 2015.
