Dredd 3D creeping up on us, Lionsgate has released a new poster to get people in the mood for the gritty, apocalyptic comic adaptation. The poster features
Karl Urban set against a backdrop of a burnt-out Mega-City One. We doubt tourist boards are going to be running this one any time soon.
Dredd 3D takes place in a violent, futuristic city where police have the authority to take down criminals by any means necessary. Enter Judge Dredd. He is tasked with the unenviable goal of ridding the city of a dangerous drug epidemic known as Slo-Mo, a drug which causes users to experience reality at a fraction of its normal speed. Dredd teams up with rookie Cassandra Anderson (
Olivia Thirlby) to enter drug lord Ma-Ma’s (
Lena Headey) territory and put an end to the supply.
