I thought Kingsman: The Secret Service was a riot of a time but the general critical reaction was quite muted and its $17 million box office haul so far is hardly stellar. But there's a good chance that may be about to change.
That's because the film has yet to arrive in a huge swathe of countries, including the United States. And it's earning plenty of strong reviews there from critics who seem to be keying in on the puposeful ridiculousness of the whole affair. So, with the release date looming, Fox has released a new stop-motion trailer for some reason.
It's pretty cute, and there's certainly no harm hearing some words from the marvellous Colin Firth, but it does kind of leave out most of the point of the film which is hyper-violent and pretty screwed up. Even this red band stuff doesn't totally get its tone across, but its a better indication.
Kingsman: The Secret Service is in cinemas in the US from the 13th of February 2015.
