Furious 7 is going big with a massive extended trailer that fills us in on the baddie (an against-type Jason Statham) and the stakes, as well as giving us another glimpse at some seriously over the top driving.
It's all looking particularly awesome but my main takeaway from all the promos I've seen so far is just how sad I feel about the loss of Paul Walker. He may not have been the world's most electrifying actor (though people who think him untalented should check out something like Running Scared) but his part in this franchise cemented his position in our movie memories and the fact that he seems to have been a genuinely decent chap just makes it all the worse.
So I fully expect to get a little emotional while checking out this latest instalment, which is something I never expected from Fast and Furious. I also have faith in the filmmakers and cast that Walkers send off will be fitting and earnest and that the rest of the film will deliver exactly what fans want, especially important after the long and costly delays.
Roll on April.
Furious 7 hits cinemas on the 3rd of April 2015.
