May the 4th be with you is not merely an amusing thing to make someone say with a lisp, its also a very real refrain that we're starting to hear resounding around the world.
It's Star Wars day and every official account has been talking about the date this year non-stop for the last few weeks. It's pretty much certain at this stage that Disney are finally going to lift the lid on some of the details of the upcoming Episode VII, though we don't know just what yet.
It might have something to do with some former stars who appear to be gathering in one location. Mark Hamill andHarrison Ford have both been spotted in the UK, with Luke Skywalker himself actually posing with Phantom Menace voice actor Peter Serafinowicz on Twitter.
Subtle stuff. Carrie Fisher has also been tweeting about London in recent days and it all points - quite obviously to some massive annoucement on Sunday the 4th of May.
So what will it be? These guys are probably finally going to be confirmed for an appearence but that's not much of a reveal and fans will be expecting more after the almost decade long hiatus since Episode III. Other cast members would be nice or maybe even the holy grain itself - a reveal of the title for the highly anticpated seventh entry in the space saga.
Unfortunately, barring any last minute leaks, we're just going to have to wait and see. But be sure to keep an eye out for details on some kind of live stream shenanigans in the coming days.
May the 4th be With You.
