Luke Cage just launched on Friday as another success story for the Marvel and Netflix collaboration, and there's more on the way.
The streaming service just confirmed the release date for the next show, Iron Fist.
This is the story of billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) who returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
It sounds like a more mystical offering than we've seen so far, with some actual powers that go beyond being superstrong - which has been a feature of both Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. All 13 episodes will be out on the 17th of March, 2017 at 8.01am Irish time.
The four superheroes revealed so far will come together for a major mini series called The Defenders, which is set to screen later in 2017. There are also planned further episodes for Jessica Jones and a standalone series for The Punisher in the works.
