The Transformers series is one of the biggest franchises around, with the three movies to date earning almost $2.7 billion worldwide.
After such massive success it was time for the creatives to get some new blood into the mix, and they've done that by way of a refresh of the series. That gives them a chance to put a lick of paint to the incredible CG models of the Transformers themselves and they've also brought in an entirely new cast.
Top of the list is Mark Wahlberg, coming off the blockbusting Ted and a brilliant collaboration with Micheal Bay on Pain & Gain. He's joined by Nicola Peltz from Bates Motel and third-billing goes to Ireland's own Jack Reynor. The 22 year old impressed with his turn in What Richard Did in 2012 and is making an amazing transition to Hollywood in one of the biggest movies of the year.
What's more, you can find Reynor front and centre (or rather a little bit off to the left) in the latest poster for the film, behold its glory below.
That's a mighty big sword/gun combination Marky Mark is weilding, though it obviously pales next to the monsterous Optimus Prime lurking in the background, getting ready to harness the power of the Dinobots for robotic glory.
The plot goes like this: "Four years after the invasion ofChicago, a mechanic and his daughter discoversOptimus Primethat brings down the Autobots, Decepticons, and a paranoid government agency down on them that interrupts their quiet life."
Age of Extinction also stars Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles and Kelsey Grammer in live action roles with John Goodman and Ken Watanabe lending their voices.
