A new trailer has been released for the upcoming time-bending thriller Looper. The trailer explains everything that you need to know about the film and the general plot: when time travel gets invented, criminals use it to send people back in time for a looper to take out. Assassination made easy essentially. However, when Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character, Joe, comes face to face with his future self (Bruce Willis), he gets caught napping. The first rule is that you can never let your target escape, even if that target is yourself. As you would expect, this leaves Joe in a tricky situation. For some of the trailer he reassures his future self that he can't be allowed live, before they later team up to take down Joe's future employer.

Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are joined by an impressive cast that includes Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano and Piper Perabo. Rian Johnson has taken up directorial duties on this project. Looper will be released on September 28th, though if anyone has met their future selves, post a comment to let us know what you think.
