Unsurprisingly, Marvel is going to use one of its massive movies this year to promote another. The new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be shown ahead of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The new trailer will first be shown at the Star Wars Celebration convention, which runs from April 16th to 19th. Avengers: Age of Ultron starts hitting cinemas internationally on April 22nd. The question is, will Disney/Lucasfilm decide to officially release a HD version of the trailer after it is screened at the convention? Or will they leave it a few days as a short-term exclusive for that audience?
Of course, trailers rarely remain exclusive for long. Marvel has experienced the strife of having trailers uploaded in poor quality before they were ready to be shown. We imagine they’ll want to avoid a similar fate this time around.
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits cinemas here from April 23rd. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18th.
