TAKEN, the film that launched Liam Neeson as an action icon (despite starring in action roles for DECADES... don’t ask) has been called many things: Racist, fabulous, misogynistic, fabulous, insensitive and, of course, fabulous.

But I think we can all agree, it stands as a textbook example of how to react to some jerk stealing yo baby!

JOHN TAKEN* is back in TAKEN 2, literally suffering the vengeance of all the humans he executed in the first film. This time he and his wife/ex-wife/lady companion are TAKEN (2?) and it’s up to his daughter to sort it out.

But before you bemoan the ridiculous premise, just take a gander at this TAKEN 2 trailer...


It looks like JOHN TAKEN isn’t TAKEN for very long in TAKEN 2 before he TAKES the TAKING to the TAKERS!!!

Expect plenty of Pew Pew Duff Duff Vroom Vroom from Neeson when TAKEN 2 shows cinemas its very particular set of skills on October 5th.




*Sadly, Neeson’s character is called Bryan Mills. Missed opportunity there, methinks.
