Perhaps best known to most as the voice of Jarvis in the Iron Man movies, British actor Paul Bettany has gone on record with Jimmy Kimmel to confirm his role in the forthcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, claiming that Marvel "found him out" and decided to actually make him do some acting this time around. In his interview to promote the movie Transcendence, Bettany said:
It’s very exciting for me, but everything is a double edged sword because I was playing J.A.R.V.I.S. for years. My job was, I would turn up in a recording studio for 45 minutes, do all my stuff. And then they’d give me a huge bag of cash, and then I’d go home! But it turns out they found me out, and now they actually want me to do something!
When asked about the abilities that fans could expect to see from Vision's impressive repertoire, Bettany was much more candid, saying:
I can do all sorts of things, but I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who might wrestle me to the ground and then fire me. They'll pick and choose [which abilities Vision will have].
Given that Vision was created by Ultron, who was created by Hank Pym (aka Ant-Man), it's likely we'll see Bettany make his debut as the character next year, before going all out inAvengers: Age of Ultron.
