Metal Gear Solid's Raiden has been confirmed as an unlockable yet playable skin to appear in the hotly anticipated Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
Apparently the Raiden "outfit" will be unlocked by completing each objective in the Animus' new "virtual training" mode, an obvious nod to the Hideo Kojima's prolific series.
And before MGS fan boys get too indignant, please note that the playable skin more closely resembles the Cyborg Raiden from the generation defining Metal Gear Solid 4 and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising, than his stark naked MGS2 counterpart.
You might recall the option to unlock the robes of Assassin's Creed's Altair in Metal Gear Solid 4. The requirements being game completion with 50+ knife kills, 50+ CQC grabs and under 25 alerts tripped.
Ubisoft also announced free PS3-exclusive DLC for AC: Brotherhood yesterday, while the multiplayer beta has been available to Playstation Plus subscribers for some time.
The game's out on November 19 in the UK, so get ready to invite your friends around for a good garrotting.
