It’s been three long years sing Bang and Olufsen’s has updated its attractively built, yet unattractively priced Beosound 5.
But now their BeoSound 5 Encore is on sale for the slightly more affordable price of approximately €2400!
The Encore retains the svelte 10.4” LCD screen, and its scroll wheel input, but has been upgraded to allow the device to run headless (without the former BeoMaster music server requirement.)
Connectivity options are varied and tracks can now be ferried via USB, NAS, A2DP Bluetooth, or via 13,000 internet radio stations. So there are a couple of options available.
The Bang and Olufsen Beosound 5 Encore is due to ship in August.
