SCEA President Jack Tretton has taken a thinly veiled swipe at Nintendo while speaking to CNN, writing them off as little more than a babysitting tool. The comments come following record opening weekend sales for Nintendo's latest system, the 3DS, and given that Nintendo systems have greatly outsold Sony's since the middle of last decade, it could well be that Tretton's comments are little more than sour grapes.
Speaking to CNN he said:'Our view of the 'Game Boy experience' is that it's a great babysitting tool, something young kids do on airplanes, but no self-respecting twenty-something is going to be sitting on an airplane with one of those. He's too old for that.'
