"Another great show #xfactorau more tomorrow night .. We are only getting started."
Dubliner Ronan, 35, sits on the judging panel of the show alongside Guy Sebastian, Mel B and Natalie Bassingthwaite.
The viewing figure was a series record for the Australian version of the show which is facing competition from The Voice which features Delta Goodrem on the panel.
The former Boyzone star is enjoying career success in recent weeks as he also launched his new album Fires.
However, he has endured a tough time in his private life as he broke up with Yvonne Keating, 37, last October.
The couple tried to patch their marriage back together following his affair with dancer Francine Cornell but it emerged earlier this year that they had split.
Yvonne has since found love again and was recently photographed for the first time with her new man John Conroy.
Ronan and Yvonne were married for 14 years and have three children together - Jack (13), Missy and Ali (6)
