Recut trailer for The Campaign released
Refresh your memory of the Will Ferrell comedy.
If you missed the debut trailer for The Campaign, a new video has been released but it uses quite a lot of the same footage. Rather than focusing on the background and differences between the two candidates it paints both of them as pretty incompetent, unlike the initial trailer.

The Campaign is the story of two politicians and their rivalry in the race for congress. In the original trailer, Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) was shown expecting to walk into a fifth term in office unopposed and with good reason. He talked the talk and walked the walk. Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) on the other hand is new to the campaign trail and will have to learn quickly if he expects to lay down a challenge.

Jay Roach directs the film which stars Jason Sudeikis, Brian Cox, John Lithgow and Dan Aykroyd alongside Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. There is always the worry with comedies that the best bits are in the trailer, and this fear hasn’t been eased with the similarity between the two trailers. However, we will wait and see how it turns out before casting judgement. The Campaign will be released on August 10th in North America and September 28th in Europe.
