Hey you know what, I've always found the Resident Evil film series to be a pretty darn entertaining time at the cinema.
Sure it's dumb as especially dumb rocks and the story stopped making sense years ago but Milla Jovovich still kicks a lot of ass and it's an excuse for director (and hubby) Paul W.S. Anderson to indulge in his own brand of nuttiness which also usually happens to include decent 3D.
The series is coming to an end early next year with the fittingly titled The Final Chapter, and it's going to look a bit like this.
Ah the laser grid death wall thing is back!
You'll also find things like a triple barrelled shotgun, hordes of CGI enemies and a British baddie with unlikely hair. And yes Jorah Mormont was in the Resi series long before he set foot on the set of Game of Thrones.
The cast is pretty wacky too, including a returning Ali Larter as Claire Redfield (didn't she die?) and Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. Wentworth Miller is Chris Redfield and Orange is the New Black lady Ruby Rose shows up too.
Hey I think it looks like fun.
Resident Evil The Final Chapter is in cinemas on the 3rd of February, 2016.
