Screenings of Two of Robin Williams' Best Movies in Dublin Celebrate His Life and Legacy This Week

Happenings is a company which organises outdoor screenings for films in the Dublin area and they've got two special events coming this week.

After the terribly sad news that Robin Williams passed away this week, they're organising screenings of Dead Poet's Society and Good Will Hunting (for which he won his only Oscar) in Dublin.

Dead Poet's Society will screen in Merrion Square on Thursday the 14th of August at 20.00 - tickets cost €5.

Good Will Hunting screens in Fitzwilliam Square on Saturday the 16th of August at 19.30 - tickets are €10.

Some of the ticket costs will go to worthy organisations which help those suffering from depression, something Williams' battled with all his life, so be sure to support Pieta House and others with collections on the night.

After the sadness of his passing, why not come out and celebrate the wonderful contribution of Robin Williams to our lives and help some great causes at the same time.

For more information, keep up with Happenings on Facebook here.

And if you or anyone you know needs help, talk to the Samaritans or Pieta House.
