If you’ve ever wanted to see what goes into making a stop motion animation, the team involved in
The Pirates! Band of Misfits has created a behind-the-scenes feature. This video blends scenes from the movie with interviews and the creative process. The studio has previously been responsible for films such as
Chicken Run and
Arthur Christmas. The film took almost 18 months to film with extensive work going into each scene.
It features the likes of
Hugh Grant,
Martin Freeman,
Brendan Gleeson,
Jeremy Piven, and
Imelda Staunton. The story follows
Hugh Grant, as the Pirate Captain, as he hopes to win the Pirate of the Year award. To do so, he must beat off competition from his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (
Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (
Salma Hayek). The Pirates! Band of Misfits will be in cinemas at the end of March.
