Trouble with the Curve showcases the father-daughter relationship between
Clint Eastwoodand
Amy Adams. It’s not the most exciting or ground breaking still you will see, but it is our first glimpse at the movie so it will have to do for now.
The movie is based on an original screenplay by Randy Brown in which Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout who is slowly starting to lose his eyesight. He decides that it’s time to call it quits, but not before he takes one last road trip down to Atlanta to check out a promising prospect. His daughter grudgingly agrees to accompany him on this trip to act as his eyes.
Justin Timberlake will feature as a rival scout, but one who happens to like and respect Gus. The film also stars
John Goodman,
Robert Patrick and
Matthew Lillard.
Trouble with the Curve will be released in North America on September 28th and in Europe on November 30th.
