Suicide Squad is in cinemas on the 5th of August, which is tomorrow if anyone is counting.
The film is set in the same universe as Batman v Superman which came out earlier in the year but we're hearing that it might be set before the two huge comic book fellows came to blows. It's all about supervillains instead of the good guys this time, with a group that is sent on a dangerous mission because no one really cares if they survive.
Early screenings have been taking place and it seems there will be a mid credit scene after the expensive looking animated bits reminding you about the main cast, so you'll probably want to stick around for that. There was no scene at the end of the regular credits, but that might be different in released prints.
This would be a first for the DC sequence of films, perhaps borrowing an idea from Marvel who has made a habit of teasing extra scenes in their credits. Or just doing it for a bit of a laugh because it's hardly a revolutionary idea.
So stick around, won't ya?!
