The Babadook is in Irish Cinemas on October 24th

We've been hearing tales of The Babadook for a long time now and it won't be long before you get to experience it for yourself.

The film focusses on a young mother and her 6 year old son, still traumatised by the death of her husband. When young Samuel gets his hands on a storybook called The Bababook he becomes convinced that the monster is out to kill him. And he might not be entirely wrong...

Chilling stuff...

The Babadook stars Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman and is directed by Jennifer Kent. The film is also showing as the opening film of the IFI Horrorthon on Thursday the 23rd of October.
