Some lucky folk are getting to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens as we speak. Unfortunately, there's always someone who doesn't know when to stop typing.
Some might have the luxury of just avoiding the internet for a few days, but that's just not possible for most of us. Thankfully, there's a Chrome extension that may help. Force Block will “block pages containing spoilers from Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
According to the extension's description, it has "smart pattern detection and a whitelist for false alarms.”
When it detects that there's the potential of something being spoiled, you'll be greeted by the warning message below.
Of course, technology can only do so much, and some people are determined to ruin anticipated things for others. So be careful where you visit online, particularly anywhere with comment sections, and try to steer clear of social media if at all possible.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 17th.
