The deluge of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles related news seems to have no end this week, and the latest announcements centre on the addition of some familiar names to the movie's voice talent roster.

Jackass, Bad Grandpa and Men in Black star Johnny Knoxville will take on the voice of unofficial leader of the group, Leonardo, while Splinter, the giant rat, will be voiced by Tony Shaloub, best known for his lead role in detective series Monk.

The duo will replace original voice actors Pete Ploszek and Danny Woodburn, who had taken on the roles as Leonardo and Splinter, respectively, in the knowledge that they were likely to be recast down the line - however, with just a few months remaining until the movie hits theatres, it's probably fair to say they thought their positions were secure.

It's expected that additional news on the voice talent roster could be announced in the next few weeks, as producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman aim to add even more star power to a movie that already includes Megan Fox and William Fichtner.
