When many people think of comic book movies, Marvel and DC usually come to mind. But Mark Millar has provided Hollywood with plenty of material to work with too. Two more of his comics will be made into movies in the near future.
Millar revealed that Starlight and Chrononauts are two projects in the pipeline. He said in an interview with JoBlo that the screenplay for Starlight is finished. It was written by Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli and After Earth), and they’re just looking for a director to helm the project now.
He said that Chrononauts is also in development. “There's one of the actors already and we're just looking for the second guy,” he said.
Both projects look like they could be in active production by the end of the year. Millar also said that three more projects could be ready to go next year.
Millar’s previous works have provided the foundation for films such as Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service. His next film production, Fantastic Four, hits cinemas on August 6th, 2015.
