We've sadly lost a few legends already in 2016, with Alan Rickman standing out as a truly memorable actor with some legendary performances that will stand the test of time. As with many performers, he had projects which were yet to be released at the time of his death, giving us a chance to spend a little more time in the cinema with this great actor.
One such appearance will be resuming his duties as the Caterpillar in sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. Rickman's voice was always one of the best parts about his characters and you get to hear his tones front and centre in the new TV spot for the film.
We're expecting to see this film, and more than a few others, dedicated to Rickman over the coming months and years. Alice 2 is looking like it could be a bit of fun, and thankfully it passes into the hands of new director James Bobin (The Muppets) and away from the increasingly dull pictures of Tim Burton. If the new helmer can keep the visual zaniness and also bring a little coherence to the film, it could be a superior sequel. Probably won't make as much cash though.
Alice Through the Looking Glass is in cinemas in May 2016.
