Ok so Ant-Man was a bit of fun, and certainly a lot less dreary than Age of Ultron, but it's not likely to be remebered as a marquee moment in the Marvel-verse. At least the folks involved had fun making it.
Paul Rudd seems like he's just made of energy and it's his comedy skills as an actor and writer which really helped to elevate a movie which could have been a bit boring otherwise. Also Michael Pena, who is still the best part of the film.
Beyond that its just a bit of a heist movie with some weird powers, making us suspect that Ant-Man just works better as part of an ensemble, which we'll get to see when he pops up in Captain America Civil War in 2016.
Ant-Man is on DVD and blu-ray on the 20th of November 2015.
