Disney has been on a high these last few years, with animated hits like Frozen and Big Hero 6, alongside Pixar stablemates and the might of properties from Marvel and the upcoming Star Wars sequel. And it looks like their home grown fare is going to continue to impress with Zootopia. Which is going to be called Zootropolis in Ireland and the US for some reason.
Set for release in March 2016, it's about a world without humans where animals (mostly) coexist, have jobs and wear clothes - the whole anthropomorphic bag.
"In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who's trying to make it big goes on the run when he's framed for a crime he didn't commit. Zootopia's top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they're forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends."
And here's the latest trailer for the film, which shows off one of the funniest scenes we've seen in years.
We caught this scene at a Disney preview event a few months back and the entire audience was in hysterics. It's a proper joke, played out a length, which doesn't just rely on some kind of cute animal falling over and if that's an idea of the quality we can expect from the film it should be a huge hit.
Zootopia lands first in France on the 10th of February 2016 and is in US, UK and Irish cinemas in March 2016.
