Suicide Squad is in cinemas in Ireland on the 5th of August, which is just over two weeks away, and it seems like only yesterday that Batman v Superman swooped down being all dark and stuff.
David Ayer's film looks like a very different beast, partly because it's all about a bunch of deranged villains but also down to the fact that it's chock full of colour and over the top action. You could boil all of those elements down to a single word which has been forgotten since Christopher Nolan latched onto the man of bat - FUN.
A new clip for the film has just surfaced, giving us a glimpse at what could be the standout charcter - Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.
The opening lift fight is edited to shreds for some reason, when does she have time to look at her phone?, but it's still looking interesting and there are a few scant seconds which haven't appeared in trailers yet.
Maybe it's time to turn off the promotional tap for a few minutes before the thing gets totally saturated? Though that doesn't seem to be how it works these days.
