VIDEO: Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer recreated in Snapchat art

We've often seen recreations of trailers, but few are as artistic as this. YouTube channel Yoda Didn't Die has recreated the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens entirely with Snapchat art.

The end result is a little more colourful and blocky than the original, but it's incredibly impressive, especially to someone who can just about draw a stick figure.

The channel wasn't alone in its efforts. The video includes art from a host of Snapchat artists who are given their fair dues in the credits and video's description

The attention to detail is pretty incredible. BB-8 leaves an imprint in the sand as he rolls, there are some well rendered panning shots, and Kylo Ren's turn with his arm extended looks just as cool in the Snapchat recreation as in the full thing.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now in cinemas and is taking the box office by storm.
