1991's Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film.
I'm sure that's partly down to the fact that it came around when I was the right age, and also that it happened to fall at the apex of Disney's golden era revival. Also it's just a wonderful mix of perfect animation, classic storytelling and some superb musical numbers.
The film is now 25 years old and the cast and crew came back together for a musical celebration which included this magical moment.
Angela Lansbury is 90 years old and pretty much knocks the performance out of the park, complete with a moment we all remember from the film right afterwards.
While it's great to see these folks back together, with Alan Menken at the piano and other voice stars like Paige O'Hara (Belle) and Robby Benson (Beast) appearing on the night, it's also a potentially irksome move for Disney as they ramp up to release a live action remake in early 2017.
Still for now it's time to enjoy these classic tunes again, ahead of the release of a special 25th anniversary edition of the film with new special features which is released on the 20th of September, that's today!
