Sacha Baron Cohen doesn't do talk show appearances much so it was quite the event when he turned up on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. He'd brought along a clip from his latest movie The Brothers Grimsby to show but that wasn't quite what happened.
You see Kimmel staffers checked out the clip and decided there was no way they could show it on television so they came up with a novel solution - the studio audience would get to watch the scene and we'd be given the chance to watch their reactions. The set up is Cohen and on screen brother Mark Strong are in South Africa, and things are going from bad to worse. Check out what the audience thought below.
That's one great way to market the film, and those reactions don't look like any kind of canned laughter. We know Cohen has produced some outrageous moments in the past in the likes of Borat and Bruno and this looks like its going to be added to that list. Just to let you know, the comments on YouTube could potentialy spoil this moment, so maybe don't read them so you can experience it all on the big screen properly.
Also starring Rebel Wilson, Penelope Cruz, Gabourey Sidibe, Isla Fisher, Ian McShane and Scott Adkins, Grimsby is co-written by Cohen and directed by Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, Now You See Me).
In cinemas from the 24th of February 2016.
