Vote for Your Favourite Dublin Film and Head to a Special Screening of the Winner in Smithfield

Dublin has a rich cultural heritage and in recent years that's been added to by a number of film projects which have shot around the city. The movies range from big to small and cover a range of established and emerging filmmaking talent.

To celebrate this history on film, the folks at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival want to know what your favourite Dublin film is. A shortlist of 12 titles has been created, and here they are:

Adam and Paul
I Went Down
Inside I'm Dancing
Intermission
My Left Foot
Once
The Commitments
The Snapper
Quackser Fortune
Michael Collins
The General
Irish Destiny

Here's how folks are voting so far.

That's one movie a year for the 12 years that JDIFF has been around. Voting is open now and the winning film will be shown at a special outdoor screening in Smithfield Square on Saturday the 26th of July 2014. Head over here to submit your vote and be in with a chance of winning tickets to the event.

This screening is part of a new initiative called DIFFpix, a movie club which will host exclusive screenings and events throughout the year, bringing the community together during the other 52weeks when JDIFF isn't on.

JDIFF 2015 runs from the 19th to the 29th of March.
