Jovial Mexican sort and horror fan Guillermo del Toro first came across Mama as a short in 2008, written and directed byAndrés Muschietti. He was so impressed with the three minute genre offering that he offered the first time filmmaker a feature gig.
Five years on, and Muschietti has made his feature debut, notching up impressive box office returns in the States, where the film beat out competition like Arnie's The Last Stand.
The film stars Jessica Chastain andNikolaj Coster-Waldau as adoptive parents of two feral girls who are found in the woods. But it seems they didn't come back alone.
Today, we've got a creepy clip from the chiller, which sees Chastain interacting with one of the girl, played byIsabelle Nélisse.
Mama is coming to cinemas in the UK and Ireland from the 22nd of February.
