Guardians of the Galaxy is a thing that we're excited about. At this point we should probably be taking steps to quell that anticipation for fear of overhyping it and ultimately spoiling the film when we finally get to see it.
This is going to be the best thing EVER!
Guardians takes a rag tag group of sometimes superpowered misfits and forces them to face off against a vicious enemy in a fight for nothing less than the fate of all existence. It's a tad big and epic and dramatic, but its also got a talking raccoon in it so you know that there will also be many fun times.
A new TV spot has just been released which shows off a slightly more serious side to the business, including a glimpse of the big bad by the name of Ronan. He's played by Lee Pace who said he got a massive kick out of playing a 'f**king psycho' during filming.
And there's funnyman Chris Pratt, accepting his mantle as a Guardian of the Galaxy in a moment in the film that's probably high on drama but here is a bit undercut by being used as part of a poorly edited throwaway gag.
Still, excite engines are primed and ready. Bring it on!
Guardians of the Galaxy is in cinemas from the 31st of July 2014.
