This is quite the thing. Filmmaker J.J. Abrams has sent a message from the set of Star Wars.
That's right, the famously tight lipped and secretive dude behind Lost and Star Trek is not only casually chatting right on the set of a film he's currently shooting but he also gives us the chance to see a great new alien design from the film. And I can't begin to explain how amazing it is to see a non-CG creation.
The video is all about letting people know about an amazing prize - giving one fan the chance to actually visit the Star Wars set while they're shooting in London. You'll see everything that's going on and even get into hair and makeup and get to be IN THE FILM!
Here's what JJ has to say.
It's an incredible opportunity but its also for a good cause. Star Wars: Force for Change is a new initiative which is all about creating a brighter future for kids around the world. It uses innovative tech to bring new solutions to areas most effected by poverty. A new hope indeed.
