Robbie Williams has revealed he will release a new album next year after signing a new deal with Universal Music.
The new studio album – Robbie’s first since 2009 and his latest creative venture after his successful reunion with Take That – is likely to be one of the most anticipated new releases of 2012. It will be issued worldwide by Universal next autumn following his departure from EMI.
It's estimated Robbie made more than €10m from the Take That reunion,
according to reports, which included huge shows at Croke Park, Dublin last June.
Robbie says: “I'm really thrilled to be joining the Universal family at what I think is the most exciting time in my career."
Robbie — who has sold more than 60 millions albums over his solo career — is now recording the new record, his ninth studio album, in his own studio in Los Angeles.
His 'In And Out Of Consciousness - Greatest Hits 1990 - 2010' was the best selling greatest hits album of last year while his seven number one UK albums mean he is the biggest-selling solo artist in UK history.
No regrets, eh Robbie...
