16GB iPod touch refreshed with iSight camera
Apple’s 16GB iPod touch model has been enhanced with an iSight camera and is now available for the lower price of $199.

That’s $30 less for the new-and-improved model, which comes with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and the traditional Retina Display. The device is available in a choice of six colours (black, silver, pink, yellow, blue and red) and comes with a wrist strap.

The revamped model also includes the FaceTime HD camera and an Apple A5 processor. As you’d expect it runs iOS 7 and comes with a pair of Apple’s EarPod headphones.

Prices have been cut across the board. The 32GB model is now $249, down from $299, while the 64GB iPod touch is $299 reduced from $399. Apple has seen its sales of iPods drop in recent years, so perhaps this price reduction can breathe new life into the line.
