The report comes courtesy of the Korea Herald, though it flies in the face of other rumours that we’ve heard. It was previously thought that the smartphone would possess a QHD screen of at least 5.1-inches. The Korea Herald also reports that the device is metal clad and just 6mm thick.
If these rumours are true, and if it does launch in August as other reports claim, this is a clear attempt by Samsung to muscle in and provide iPhone fans with some food for thought.
However, this particular report should be taken with an extra-large grain of salt. This is the first time that the Galaxy F device has been linked with a 4.7-inch screen and would be quite the diversion from Samsung’s traditional approach to screen size.
