Motorola is working on a device with the code name Shamu, according to Android Police. The device features a 5.9-inch display of unknown resolution. Few other details are known besides the rumour that it will also feature a fingerprint sensor.
Information is pretty scarce at this point in time. Shamu has previously appeared on Google's issue tracker, so a device exists with that particular code name. However, it can’t be said for certain if this device and the Nexus device that is scheduled for release later this year are one and the same.
Android Police's informant claims that the 5.9-inch Nexus will be released in November and will run Android L.
